Mock trial is a small club that performs a simulated court trial. The case, either a civil case or a criminal case is provided by Florida Southern College, which runs the state competition.

The case for each year is released in late October.

The students become attorneys and witnesses. They perform the case and are judged on how well they represent their side of the case procedurally.

We enter a video of the court trial into the state competition and also compete live against other local middle schools in the spring.

The club meets weekly after school to practice the case and requires some work to be done outside of those meeting times.
